Jasmin studied Chemistry with a focus on Cellular Agriculture at MIT and worked in Materials & Texture R&D at alternative protein start-ups including Tender Foods and Impossible Foods. Now she is a Senior Associate at Lever VC, a food and ag tech-focused fund specializing in sustainable protein production. Jasmin is also the founder of Nucleate Cultivate, a student-led non-profit program that provides hands-on opportunities for students around the world to lower the barrier to entering the alternative protein industry. This program shapes the future leaders and innovators of alt protein. Jasmin is passionate about building and enabling the sustainable food industry.
