New in Funding: a Mammoth $145M for CRISPR-proteins, $43M to fight food waste

🧬 Mammoth Biosciences raised $145M combined Series C and D funding, at a valuation of more than $1 billion. The startup is building one of the largest repositories of Crispr-based proteins to cut and edit DNA for use in medicines and diagnostics.

🛵 ShopUp raised $75M Series B funding for its e-commerce platform which is digitising neighbourhood stores in Bangladesh, in which 95% of all retail takes place.
