🍎 Apeel raised an additional $250M Series E funding, bringing its total investment to more than $635M. It plans to expand its supply chain in Europe, the UK and the US, to give more places access to its plant-based coating which extends the life of fresh produce, reducing waste.

💰 Ex-Metro boss Olaf Koch has launched a new fund for food startups, Zintinus, which just raised €50M in its first close, and is aiming for €150M.

🥬 Ag software startup Regrow closed $17M Series A funding just six months after its formation earlier this year, to continue the US rollout of its monitoring, reporting, and verification tool for carbon sequestration and monetisation.
