📦 Chinese e-grocery startup Missfresh secured $306M to build a new ‘intelligent supply chain center’ in Chengyang district. The company currently operates from 1500 ‘micro-warehouses’ in or near residential areas in China’s largest cities, so order fulfilment is rapid and efficient, and produce is kept as fresh as possible due to short travel times.

🥛 Israeli food tech Remilk raised $11.3M series A funding to scale up production of its animal-free dairy products, produced using fermentation technology which allows the production of plant-based dairy products that are molecularly identical to conventional dairy.

🍳 Crave Hospitality Group raised $7.3M seed funding to ‘build pre-opening teams’ for its next four planned locations of its ghost kitchen/virtual restaurant facility.
