🧀 Food tech Motif FoodWorks secured $226M series B funding to invest in accelerating its mission of solving sensory and nutritional challenges with existing plant-based foods, including meat and dairy analogues, which will be key to continue growing consumer acceptance.

🍷 Underground Cellar raised $12.5M series A funding for its “gamified wine upgrade” service. Instead of discounting its wines, it offers customers the chance for free upgrades, to randomly-selected more expensive options.

📦 British startup Dishpatch closed £11.6M seed funding for its finish-at-home meal kit solutions, designed to give foodies the opportunity to enjoy meals from top-rated London restaurants, regardless of where in the UK they may live.

🛒 Israeli cashierless checkout startup Trigo secured $10M strategic investment from German supermarket chain Rewe, further to the announcement last month that the two were collaborating to create a cashierless store in Cologne.
