🍴Dubai-based cloud kitchen Kitopi raises $415M in their series C funding round from investors including SoftBank. According to the company, the new funding will be channeled tofuel its continued expansion within the Middle East and support entry to new markets such as Southeast Asia, which has a highly attractive and fast growing online food delivery market

💰 Anterra Capital announced the $175M second closing of its second Global Food and Agriculture Technology Fund, exceeding its target. The fund is designed to support mission-driven entrepreneurs transforming our food economy through biotech and digital innovation.

🚜 Indian agritech venture capital firm Omnivore raised $150M for its new fund, its third since its inception in 2010, which will support tech-driven solutions that help boost yield productivity and profitability for rural Indian farmers

🦄 Indian food delivery giant Zomato is investing $100M in online grocer Grofers, turning it into a unicorn in exchange for a 10% stake, in the hope of expanding it beyond the food delivery category in the coming years.

🛒 Czech online grocery delivery service Rohlik Group closed €100M series C funding, its second 9-digit round this year, and reached a valuation of over $1 billion, giving it unicorn status. It currently serves more than 750,000 customers across three international markets, and has plans for expansion.
