🥬 Gotham Greens secured $87M, bringing its total funding since launch to $130M, to further develop its network of greenhouses in the US.


🍄 Chicago-based Nature’s Fynd raised $45M to build out its nutritional fungi protein platform, with a view to launching its protein-packed food products commercially in 2021. 


🌳 Israeli agtech firm SeeTree closed a $30M series B round this week. Its tech platform offers tree health insights through computer vision and machine learning, which produces personalised cultivation plans for each tree or cluster of trees.


🍔 Dutch cell-based meat company Mosa Meat raised €16.3M, bringing its total series B funding to €63M, to scale up its technology and continue development of its cultivated hamburger.


🛒 San Francisco-based grocery optimisation platform Afresh raised a $13M series A extension to expand its technology across more aspects of the fresh grocery space.


🐮 Israeli startup Remilk secured $11.3M to continue development of its microbial fermented, animal-free dairy, which it claims is identical to cow’s milk but without the need for cows.


🌾 iUNU raised $7M series A funding to further develop its computer vision and machine learning systems which add precision to indoor farming and ensure crop health issues receive swift action to prevent spoilage.


🍳 Swedish dark kitchen startup Curb raised €3.2M to create food brands designed especially for delivery, as its founder Carl Tengberg is excited about the potential for growth in this newer segment of the food service industry.
