  • Cell-cultured food tech UPSIDE Foods, formerly Memphis Meats, has announced its plans to launch its first product, cell-based chicken, in the US THIS YEAR pending regulatory approval.
  • Future Meat Technologies has once again reduced the production price of its cell-based chicken breast, this time to $4/110g, bringing it even closer to price parity with conventional chicken meat.

Once a customer has tapped their smartphone on the machine’s payment tag, the freezer door unlocks to allow them to choose their ice cream, and cameras and sensors ensure they are charged for the products they have picked once they close the door.

⛽️An “overwhelming majority” of Unilever’s shareholders have voted in favour of its climate transition plan to become a net-zero business by 2039. Its strategies include transitioning to renewable energy sources, eliminating fossil fuels from its cleaning products, as well as reducing corporate travel and refrigeration emissions.
